Role Summary

As a Community Care Worker at Enerst Care, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of service users. Your work will promote independence, dignity, and safety while maintaining strong professional relationships with users, families, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

🌟 Personal Care & Support

• Assist with daily routines: washing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility.

• Support medication management and personal hygiene.

• Encourage independence and avoid fostering dependency.

  
  

🍽️ Domestic & Nutritional Support

• Prepare meals according to user preferences and dietary needs.

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.

  
  

💬 Social & Emotional Support

• Provide companionship, engage in meaningful conversations, and support social connections.

• Accompany users on outings and assist with managing personal affairs.

  
  

🛡️ Safety & Compliance

• Use equipment safely and maintain a secure living environment.

• Adhere to all regulatory and company policies.

  
  

Essential Qualities

✅ 2+ years of healthcare experience.

✅ Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and strong communication skills.

✅ Ability to remain calm under pressure.

✅ DBS clearance for working with vulnerable people.
